Aluminum fence painting

Picket, privacy and pool fences restored to an even finish on both faces, on site.

A fence is long, low and in full sun all day. That makes it the first thing on a property to fade and the first to show chalking when you brush past it.

We clean the whole run, sand where the finish has failed, protect the lawn, hardscape and plantings, then prime and apply multiple spray coats. Both faces, the tops of the pickets and the rails all get the same finish.

What we cover

  • Picket and spear-top fences
  • Privacy and horizontal-slat fences
  • Pool fences
  • Posts, caps and hardware, masked or finished to match

Process

How the finish is made

On site, without removal. Expected finish life in South Florida: 7–10 years.

  1. Inspect

We assess the existing coating and note oxidation, chalking and peeling.

  2. Clean & sand

Dirt, salt and loose paint come off. Rough areas are sanded smooth.

  3. Mask & prime

Glass, stone and surrounding surfaces are masked. A bonding primer made for metal goes on first.

  4. Finish coats

Multiple spray-applied coats build an even, uniform finish.

  5. Walkthrough

We clean up completely and review the work with you before we leave.

Questions

Fences: common questions

Do you paint both sides of the fence?

Yes, unless you ask us not to. Both faces, the tops and the rails are finished the same way.

Will you protect the lawn and plants?

Yes. Ground cover and masking go down before any spraying starts, and we clean up completely before we leave.

Can you change the color of my fence?

Yes. If you live in an HOA community, check its color rules first. We can match an approved color.
