Aluminum painting in North Miami Beach

Despite the name, mostly inland: homes, condo buildings and busy commercial corridors.

Most of North Miami Beach sits inland of the Intracoastal, so salt exposure is lighter than on the barrier islands. Sun and humidity still break finishes down, mainly as fading and chalking.

Work here is a mix: fences and gates for homes, railings for mid-rise condominium buildings, and storefront frames along the commercial corridors.

Process

How the finish is made

Expected finish life in South Florida: 7–10 years.

  1. Inspect

We assess the existing coating and note oxidation, chalking and peeling.

  2. Clean & sand

Dirt, salt and loose paint come off. Rough areas are sanded smooth.

  3. Mask & prime

Glass, stone and surrounding surfaces are masked. A bonding primer made for metal goes on first.

  4. Finish coats

Multiple spray-applied coats build an even, uniform finish.

  5. Walkthrough

We clean up completely and review the work with you before we leave.

Questions

Aluminum painting in North Miami Beach

Does inland aluminum need repainting too?

Yes. UV and humidity cause fading and chalking even away from the ocean, just more slowly.

Do you paint storefronts in North Miami Beach?

Yes, and we can schedule around business hours.

Do you remove anything to paint it?

No. Everything is painted in place, with glass, stone and surrounding surfaces masked first.
