Aluminum painting in Miami Beach

Art Deco hotels, oceanfront towers and island homes. Railings, frames and storefronts refinished on site.

Miami Beach is a barrier island with salt exposure on both sides, and a wide range of buildings: historic Art Deco hotels and apartments, modern oceanfront towers, commercial storefronts and private homes on the residential islands.

Parts of Miami Beach are historic districts, where exterior color changes can need city review. Refinishing in the existing color is the simplest path; if you want a new color, check with the city first.

Process

How the finish is made

Salt is washed out of every joint before priming. Expected finish life in South Florida: 7–10 years.

  1. Inspect

We assess the existing coating and note oxidation, chalking and peeling.

  2. Clean & sand

Dirt, salt and loose paint come off. Rough areas are sanded smooth.

  3. Mask & prime

Glass, stone and surrounding surfaces are masked. A bonding primer made for metal goes on first.

  4. Finish coats

Multiple spray-applied coats build an even, uniform finish.

  5. Walkthrough

We clean up completely and review the work with you before we leave.
