Aluminum painting in Hollywood

From beachfront condos near the Broadwalk to family neighborhoods inland. Railings, fences, gates and frames.

Hollywood runs from the beach and its Broadwalk, through the Intracoastal, to large residential neighborhoods inland. Beachside buildings face salt and wind; inland homes mostly deal with sun and fading.

Common Hollywood projects are condo balcony railings near the beach, and fences, gates and screen-enclosure frames for homes further west.

Process

How the finish is made

Salt is washed out of every joint before priming. Expected finish life in South Florida: 7–10 years.

  1. Inspect

We assess the existing coating and note oxidation, chalking and peeling.

  2. Clean & sand

Dirt, salt and loose paint come off. Rough areas are sanded smooth.

  3. Mask & prime

Glass, stone and surrounding surfaces are masked. A bonding primer made for metal goes on first.

  4. Finish coats

Multiple spray-applied coats build an even, uniform finish.

  5. Walkthrough

We clean up completely and review the work with you before we leave.
